Louisiana Swamp Tours at Lake Martin

Well, I am not surprised!

Everyone(except me) at Lake Martin who are operating tours this summer are going the way of the typical tourist traps around New Orleans.

Meaning, big boats with the people packed in like sardines!

So if you are looking for something different, meaning a small boat, with 10 people(or less), and room to streach out and relax, with a small group where I can give you some personalized attention, then de la Houssaye's Swamp Tours is for your service.

I have actually had people get into my boat after refusing to participate in the over-crowed and over-loaded insanities of the other operators in the big boats. Here is another plus: as you might imagine, the big boats cannot go where my smaller and more practical crawfish shiff does, and as you can see more wildlife in a less travelled route, this is really what most people doing a swamp tour are hoping for.

I also do private tours, and sunrise and sunset photo safaries for special people like my new Viet Nam veteran buddy here:

Please be advised that I am urging everyone to do early morning and sunset tours in order to avoid the very uncomfortable heat of the day during June, July, and August.

I am Marcus de la Houssaye, I was swamp people, before Swamp People was a TV show, and I will be the man driving the boat.
